Signal decoding in Outspace is one of key activities as it is providing players with blueprints which are needed for construction of products in the factories. It is done by decoding signals which are placed around galaxy.
Signals
Signals are emited by source in form of plane (even thought they are portrayed on map in form of discs). They can be found either on map after enabling feature showing them (its on left side of screen), or they can be found in ´´Śignal recorder´´ tab where the decoding is done.
Main factors affecting decoding
Speed of decoding
- Science skill of astronaut stationed in science position of module (teS).
- Position of ship against source of signal.
- Objects around ship interfering with decoding.
Amount of signals that can be decoded at same time
- Number of modules with science position (manned).
