Production slots are limitation of any productivity in gameplay. Slot is always occupied until a activity is finished. All players have one slot by default.Decreasing of a slot will not stop the production, only disable to start another.
Construction slot
Allows player to perform of manufacture of item in the Factory or another manufacture oriented Station Facility.
Increasing
You get 1 slot as a default. For second slot you need to have a Engineer at level 10 in your crew.
Borehole slot
Allows player to perform extraction at Asteroid Borehole.
Building slot
Allows player to start Station block or Station facility construction at Space station.
